Hathway Cable ends trading with 13.4 percent discount on debut


Mumbai: Hathway Cable and Datacom, a cable television services provider ended the trading at 211, a discount of 12 percent to its issue price of 240. During the day, the stock touched a high of 250, which was the opening price, and touched a low of 204.5. Overall 74,43,846 shares were traded throughout the day with a turnover of 162 crore on the NSE. On the BSE, Hathway ended at 207.80, down 13.4 percent from its issue price, after seeing day's high of 246 and low of 206.20. The company had managed to raise 666 crore through IPO of 277.5 lakh equity shares. Selling shareholders like Monet and MSPI Mauritius India received Rs 173.04 crore and 12.96 crore via offering of 72.10 lakh and 5.4 lakh equity shares through the issue. Hathway Cable is the cable television services provider in India as well as one of the leading cable broadband services providers. It offers analog and digital cable television services across 125 cities and towns and high-speed cable broadband services across 18 cities.
