Franklin Templeton launches FTF - Series XII


Bangalore: Franklin Templeton has launched a new fund named as 'Franklin Templeton FTF - Series XII (3 Years)', a close ended income scheme. The new issue has opened for subscription on September 10 and closes on September 30, 2009. The primary investment objective of the scheme is to generate returns and reduce interest rate volatility, through a portfolio of fixed income securities that are maturing on or before the maturity of the scheme along with capital appreciation through equity exposure. The scheme shall offer regular and institutional plan with growth and dividend payout options under each plan. The minimum application amount for purchase of units in regular plan is 10,000 and in multiples of 10 thereafter. The entry and exit load charge will not be applicable for the scheme. Pallab Roy, Vivek Ahuja, A Radhakrishna and Roshi Jain are appointed fund managers of the scheme.
