Dailyninja Receives $3 Million Funding from Saama & Sequoia Capital


Subscription based delivery startup Daily Ninja bags $3 million from Saama Capital and Sequoia Capital where the company specializes in early morning delivery everyday essentials like milk and groceries to 25,000 households’ everyday across Bengaluru and Hyderabad. It allows users to subscribe for daily needs such as milk, bread eggs, curd, dosa batter, paneer and more.

Sagar Yarnalkar, CEO & Co-Founder, says,”With this fundraise we plan to expand in new cities and capture a bigger customer base in our home city of Bengaluru. We are delighted to have two very successful and respected investors in Sequoia and Saama capital partner with us."

Founded by BITS Pilani graduates in September 2015, Daily Ninja has previously raised $1.5 million in October 2017 from Sequoia Capital and with the recent $3 million, company intends to expand their business b acquiring more customers across Bengaluru, Hyderabad and Gurgaon. The funds will be used to add more offerings for customers and upgrade customer experience. The company had angel visitors Kunal Shah and Sandeep Tandon of Freecharge, Aprameya Radhakrishna of TaxiForSure, Anupam Mittal of Shaaid.com and others.
