Bangalore: ‘Tax Notice’ has no timings; it can arrive anytime at your doorstep. And there is no doubt; most of the people hate this! Most of the tax payers try their best to evade from the chase of ‘Tax Department’.However, there is a certain time; all the tax-payers would like to have in their lives. The only time, people feels attracted towards the tax department is when it is the time to get a tax refund.

When the tax liability is lesser than the amount of tax paid, the ‘Income Tax Department of India’ does give a tax refund. Getting a tax refund is like putting an extra amount of butter on the bread. But confusion arises after getting the tax refunds, when our minds get swarmed with plans about how to spend the refunded amount. Here are few tips about how to spend the tax refunds.

1. Look into Your House

Spending the tax refunds on the family is the best option. At times, there are certain needs in the family that gets suppressed due to the dearth of adequate funds or may be because of its availability.

Some of the household items do not get spoilt for a very longer period of time and are also very necessary for our daily life; soaps, shampoos, toiletries and many more.After getting the tax refunds; it won’t be a bad idea to use the funds for all these items. It can serve the purpose as well as prohibit the misuse of the refunded money.

Getting required appliances for the house is also another decent option to use the refunded money properly. In case, there is no requirement of any new appliances, the money can be used to paint the house, fixing the old boundary fences, getting new plants for the garden, maintaining the lawn, etc.
