Abigail Johnson

Abigail Johnson is the daughter of Edward C. Johnson the Chairman of Fidelity Investments and the granddaughter of the company’s founder. She became the Chairman of Fidelity Management and Research Corporation and she have served as the Vice chairman of the Board of the entire company. She has been the investment advisor for Fidelity’s mutual funds. It is said that since she was born into the business family that the reason why she was able to reach where she is today.

Fidelity is one of the largest mutual fund companies with almost $3.5 trillion assets under administration, $1.5 trillion of assets under management and it has 65 year old history. She earned an MBA from Harvard and worked as the customer service representative, an analyst and also an equity portfolio manager in the company for about a decade before she got the position as the executive.
