4. Ego Clash

‘Ego Clash’ - this word sounds very negative and indeed many relations suffer badly due to this.  ‘Money and ego’ they both positively relate with each other. When one grows, the other breeds too. Ego clash usually happens when, he works and she doesn't, or he's jobless and she's working, or one spouse earns more than the other or one family is rich and the other is poor. When these situations prevail, the breadwinner (or the one who makes the most money) often wants to dictate the spending priorities. Although there may be some validation behind this idea, it is still important for both partners to cooperate as a team.

5. Children or Money!

Kids or cash: the biggest dilemma of modern marriages. Even after three to five years of marriage, many couples continue their discussion about, ‘To have or not to have?’ - Of course, this is a prime question and must be discussed seriously and openly before taking a step ahead. Nowadays, the cost of raising a child for 18 years is huge. The figure of child related expenses will grow bigger with rising inflation in the future. Once you have a child, it would be hard to say them ‘no’ for funding their education, vacation and day to day expenses. It is advisable for couple to discuss about family planning from the angle of financial planning.
