As per National Investigation Agency (NIA) of India, more than 16,000 crore worth of Fake Indian Currencies are in already in circulation.

The quantity of fake currency floating around in India and other nations of the world is a major threat to economy. Hence all around the world, experts are developing and using high-tech methods to print bank notes in order to fight counterfeiters. There are some currency notes from various parts of the world which are most difficult to be faked.

10,000 Tenge of Kazakhstan

The commemorative Kazakhstan 10,000 Tenge note was announced as the Best New Bank Note in 2011 by the International Bank Note Society. The note was issued in July 2011 to celebrate 20 years of independence. This is the first note to use a security thread which is visible on both the sides. The thread has unique marking and is transparent, hence the additional security features underneath are clearly noticeable.
