Getting married on an island is something that a lot of people dream of, but getting married on your own private island is out of this world. Aristotle Onassis a shipping tycoon, married the former first lady Jacqueline Kennedy on his private island; Skorpios.
In fact Aristotle Onassis was among the first few rich men who decided to invest in a private island. After his death on 15th March 1975, the island was passed onto his daughter Christina and now it belongs to his granddaughter.

As of now the real estate experts have valued the island to be at least $ 100 million or more. In the past a lot of rumors did the rounds that the island might be on sale, but this was never confirmed and the island continues to remain in Onassis Family.
