Lakshmi Mittal: Scottish home
Steel tycoon Lakshmi Mittal is building the most expensive mansion in Scotland, next to the famed Gleneagles golf resort in Auchterarder, Perthshire. He tore down a house he bought for $6.5 million to build his $24.5 million hideaway and has already paid for the world's most expensive home. In 2008, he bought a $191.6 million home for his son Aditya in Kensington, London. His own home nearby, dubbed the Taj Mittal, and was believed to be worth $409.4 million in the same year.
