2. Chanda Kochhar

Chanda Kochhar is the managing director and chief executive officer of ICICI Bank, India's second-largest bank and the largest in the private sector. She began her career, with erstwhile ICICI Limited in 1984 and was elevated to the Board of Directors of ICICI Bank in 2001. She was instrumental in establishing ICICI Bank during the 1990s.  She was co-chair of the World Economic Forum’s Annual Meeting in 2011. She was conferred with the Padma Bhushan, one of India’s highest civilian honours, in 2011.

Under her stewardship, the ICICI Group crossed the Rs 10,000 crore net profit marks in 2013/14 and is clearly back on the growth path. Now Kochhar, who has got a three-year extension, is not averse to inorganic growth.

3. Kaku Nakhate

Kaku Nakhate is the President and Country Head for Bank of America Merrill Lync. She was with J. P. Morgan for 19 years prior joining the Bank of America. One significant change that happened in between was that DSP Merrill Lynch had now become Bank of America Merrill Lynch.

Year 2010 can be referred as a year of biggest achievement for Kaku as she succeeded Kevan V Watts as India head at Merrill Lynch. She enjoys being in power.
