5 Investment Mistakes to Avoid in 2012

5. Hope for an Even Journey

Always remember – investing can be like gambling to a very great extent. With the economies of the world fluctuating with the passing minute, one can never expect one’s investments to be always fruitful. You cannot expect to have a rigid system of investing 365 days a year. As time proceeds, we need to make changes in our portfolios to accommodate changes in the markets. So, keep your investment options flexible. If the start of the year asked for more investment in stocks but the trend shifts towards mutual funds in the middle of the year, go for the shift. Do not be rigid and stick to your original plan. Try and go with the flow. It might be a bit hectic to do so but it will save your investments from drowning. Also, do not expect to gain all the time. After all, we won some and we lose some.
