5 Financial Questions to Ask Before Saying "I Do"
4. Do Not Forget Your Parents
In India, parents are more important than Gods. When you were young, your parents might have given you money for festival, birthdays and other occasions, and this was the time you would have started building the habit of saving money.
Infact, the simplicity of parents has become a biggest guiding factor. So you should not forget your parents and it is good to discuss about them to your spouse before getting married.
5. Talk about other expenses
While getting married, you should discuss about who will be handling what. If you are taking responsibility of paying for the household, paying electricity bills and fuel charges, make sure that your spouse will take care of taxes and paying for kids and other expenses.
If you have not planned about these things and you feel that your partner is not ready to take the responsibility and is involved in gambling and too much of shopping then it’s time for you to tell them about the later consequences like losing money.
Apart from that, you should also question each other about the different approaches of saving and investing your money.
