Finland is situated in the Fennoscandian region of Northern Europe. On the west of Finland, is Sweden while Norway lays in the north, Russia lies in the east and Estonia lies in the south.

It has the eighth largest economy in the world and has a scattered population. A major portion of this economy depends on cultivation. In terms of per-capita income, Finland is not very strong. It also experienced industrialization, quite lately but at present, it is one of the richest nations in the world.
