All Jeremy wants is a pair of those shoes which are Black high-tops with two white stripes on it. The one everyone wears at school.

His grand mom tells him that they can only afford for the ‘needs’ and not the ‘luxury’, since Jeremy wanted it for the winter. But after  he realizes that sore feet isn’t much fun and he appreciates the fact that he has a warm boots and a loving grand mom, he feels proud about it.

7. "Amelia Bedelia Means Business"

Amelia Bedelia wants a new shiny and fast bike just like Suzanne. But her mom says that a bike like that is very expensive for them to afford. She went on to explain that it would cost an arm and a leg.

Through her mother’s words Amelia Bedelia realizes that she needs a job and has to earn money on her own to buy whatever she wants.
