One should aim for scholarships, grants and cheap loans from banks with interest rate of about 7-8 percent to meet the cost of their education since most of the colleges do not accept credit cards for tuition fee. Although it would have been convenient for students to swipe the card and pay for the tuition, according to a report by Wall Street Journal, colleges are apprehensive to accept cards. Even if it is allowed in few colleges, the students will have to pay an extra 2-3 percent fee.

5. To buy stocks

Credit cards cannot be used to buy and enjoy the benefits of mutual funds and stocks since stockbroker’s and brokerage firms do not accept anything but money. In situations like 2008 market crash many have witnessed people losing their savings and since then the buying and selling of stocks are fulfilled only through cash transactions.
