3. Next what you need to do is, open the downloaded excel utility. If you are accessing Office 2003, then go to Tools Macro Security, set the security level at ‘medium’ and enable macros while opening the excel utility.

4. Carefully enter all the details asked for. The information required will be available in your Form 16.

5. Next step is to authenticate the information provided by clicking the ‘Validate’ key. With this, an XML sheet will be generated and saved on your computer. The registration process which is mentioned in the step 1 can also be started at this stage.
