David Bonderman, nincknamed as ‘Bondo” co-founded private equity Texas Pacific Group (TPG). TPG bought Continental Airlines for $66 million and then sold it for a $640 million profit in 1993. His other hits comprise of Burger King and J. Crew. David has a preference for complex deals. Today,his firm manages to make $50 billion. Bonderman and Coulter are equal partners in TPG. "Bondo" attended University of Washington, then Harvard Law and became a civil rights attorney for the Department of Justice. Later he studied Islamic law in Cairo. He now sits on the board of the Russian Direct Investment Fund, which directs Kremlin funds for special projects. He donates to the League of Conservation Voters. He is ranked 683 and his net worth is $1.9 billion.
