Container Corporation of India is an India-based company. The Company is engaged in providing inland transport by rail for containers, ports, air cargo complexes and establishing cold-chain. It operates in two divisions: EXIM and Domestic. Both EXIM and domestic divisions of the Company are engaged in handling, transportation and warehousing activities. The Company's business includes three distinct activities, that of a carrier, a terminal operator, and a warehouse operator. As of March 31, 2012, the Company had 16,109 (owned plus leased) containers and it also owned 53 Reach Stackers and 14 Gantry Cranes. Its wholly owned subsidiary includes Fresh and Healthy Enterprises Limited (FHEL).
