Though credit cards have made our life much easier, but at times it is very risky because swiping a credit card may exposes your account details to others.

CNBC has highlighted some of those few risky places where you should avoid using your credit card.

1. Do Not Use Non-Bank-Owned ATMs

There are many Non-bank-owned ATMs where encryption of credit card information can be done easily. These ATMs are considered to be frauds favorite place, as it reveals the account holder’s information.

Infact there are some places where ATM machines are put up, but they don’t give out cash, instead they are devices that skim the personal information of the credit card holder. So, it’s better to avoid swiping your card in random places and look for ATMs that are secure.
