Fell Prey To Fraud? Stop Blaming Your Banks

Sharing credit card PIN, OTP

The most common thread found in the case of a fraud is the fact that people share their PIN and OTP details to unknown persons.

There are various ways to make a person reveal their PIN numbers such as Skimming, where a website copy details from the magnetic strip of a card, Phishing, where customers are directed to fraudulent websites that stores card details and Vishing, where customers are called up posing as bank persons or other authenticated person and are asked to reveal their card details.

Fraudsters might say it is a verification process to redeem reward points or any other. If these details are out once, though you approach the bank for help, the bank is helpless on this situation.
