Uttam Bose

Uttam is one of the eminent professionals in the field of manufacturing excellence in the Indian corporate sector. He has around 26 years of work experience in different capacities in manufacturing organizations based in India and abroad. Prior to joining Hindustan Motors, he was Group CEO with Hero Motors which he had joined in October 2010. His major area of focus was expansion and growth of the group, both organically and inorganically, consolidation of different verticals and leveraging the group’s technological strength along with cost competitive edge. He was associated as Managing Director with Caparo India where he introduced massive manufacturing excellence and consolidated the organization which has witnessed rapid growth and expansion in India. He was associated as Chief Executive Officer with Samtel Group, world’s largest manufacturer of colour picture tubes for television and other display components. Bose was also associated with Brunton Shaw ME, FZE, a manufacturing unit of steel wire ropes and distribution network in petroleum sector and ports, as its Managing Director based at Dubai. He also served as Chief Operating Officer at Brunton Shaw UK Ltd., at Nottinghamshire, England. For a period of 14 years, he held different positions at Usha Martin Limited, India. He started his career with GKW as a GET.
Nihar Ranjan Ghosh

Nihar Ranjan Ghosh, is the Executive Director – Human Resource and member Management Committee for the Retail Sector of RP - Sanjiv Goenka Group, with responsibility for Spencer’s Retail Limited, Music World Retail Ltd. and Au Bon Pain India Limited. He graduated with a Master’s Degree in Social Works from Indore School of Social Work in 1985. Nihar is a seasoned HR professional with over two & half decades of rich and diverse experience in Multinational Corporation, Family Managed Conglomerates, Federal Agency and Academic Institution in India, Asia Pacific Region & Middle East Region. His critical management and consulting assignments span FMCG, Food Processing, Petrochemical, Engineering, Retail, Knowledge Management and Health Care sector. Nihar held HR leadership roles in Johnson & Johnson Medical India & Asia Pacific, Alghanim Industries and Human Soft Limited in Kuwait and at Profiles International in Dubai. In the early part of his career, he has also worked at Indian Institute of Management - Ahmedabad, National Dairy Development Board and Reliance Industries. Nihar’s areas of interest include Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Organization Development and Performance Management. He is also an active trainer, process facilitator and regular speaker at national & international industry & professional forums. Nihar is a life member of National HRD Network (NHRDN) and currently serves as Member on the National Board of NHRDN. He has also been recently appointed as an Honorary National Professor of NHRDN.

Paritosh Mishra

Paritosh has rich and diverse experience of around 26 years as a HR professional in both Public and Private Sector domains. He started his career with NTPC and rose from an entry level Management Trainee in HR to a Regional HR Head. In his long tenure of more than two decades in NTPC, he worked in diverse roles and capacities and was also instrumental in setting up the HR functions in two new Regional Headquarters, viz NCR and Hydro. In a momentous move, Paritosh joined Reliance SEZ, Navi Mumbai, in 2008, as Vice President (HR), where he had responsibility of HRM/HRD, Organisation Development and Training and Development. In 2009, he picked up the role of Group HR Head of UM Group which is a Rs. 1200 crore turnover engineering, construction and manufacturing company with a major focus on Automotive, Infrastructure, Power, Telecom and Food Sectors. His role in UM involved planning, initiating, managing and leading change from a legacy-based, individualized, reactive and back-stage HR to a proactive, strategic, process-oriented and system-driven HR in the Group. He is with AES India since June 2010 and as the Corporate HR Head of OPGC, he has brought in many revolutionary changes in the Company. He has conceptualised, designed and implemented the Market Salary structure linked to Performance-based Service Conditions and the variable pay plan based on individual differentiation, in a Company, which was hitherto run on Government lines and where Government of Odisha still holds 51% equity. Paritosh is a PGDPM from NIPM, besides, being an MA and M.Phil from the School of International Studies, JNU.
