The National Centre for Rural Development (NCRD) is a registered Public Charitable Trust, founded in 1991 with the stated mission of Rural Development. During the course of its various activities aimed at the rural youth, with the aim of imparting basic education for the rural folk, NCRD entered the field of education about a decade ago. The Sterling Institute runs the MCA programme affiliated to University of Mumbai. The institute is self contained having all the necessary infrastructure in terms of Staff, Classrooms, Library, Computer Laboratories and other infrastructure.
