Nav Nirman Sewa Samiti (The promoting body) is successfully running the NNSS' Samalkha Group of Institutions (SGI), situated in NCR-Haryana, Samalkha, Distt. Panipat (Haryana). It is affiliated to Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra, which has been conferred 'A' Grade by NAAC.SGI(College of Engineering& Management) is established with a definite agenda and single minded devotion to be a provider of quality education. Emphasis at SGI is firmly on grooming strong core faculty base by inducting well qualified young & bright faculty who have a missionary zeal for teaching and are committed to the cause of shaping careers. Guided and graded classroom instructions, interactive tutorial sessions, hands on laboratory experience and interaction with successful entrepreneurs & visiting faculty are planned to help the students in developing self-confidence, clarity of thought and over all personality. Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of theSamalkha Group of Institutions (SGI). The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell keeps on invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It modules the engineering and management grades to young corporals. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students.

The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. The cell maintains a very cordial relationship with all the recruiting industries and also prepares the recruited candidates to face the competitive world. Training and Placement Cell will help and advice to students who are unsure of which field they want to work in. Following which they will be given guidance towards researching and gaining a right placement. The placement office is responsible for sending students data to various companies, and bringing them for placements. In other hand, Training and Placement Cell also selects eligible students and send them out for off-campus programmes being conducted by either company or other reputed colleges.
