About Prakasam Engineering College
Prakasam Engineering College is sponsored by the Amma Education Society. The members of the foundation are eminent personalities in various walks of life such as education, research, industry, business and administration.
"Unemployment can be curbed only by inculcating literacy, professional education and technical skills to the youth" it is this thought that took shape into Amma Education Society in 1997. And later prompted to start Prakasam Engineering College in 2001.
Placement Cell
Prakasam Engineering College has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes.
Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programmes and pre-placement presentations. The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. It provides almost instantaneous data to the corporate sector with regard to the candidates available for consideration towards placement in accordance with the preserved requirements.
The placement season of the college starts right from the beginning of the seventh semester (i.e.) from the month of June onwards. The college has got excellent facilities for conducting Campus Recruitments.
