About Prakasam Engineering College
Prakasam Engineering College is sponsored by the Amma Education Society. To make the institute bloom to rank as one of the best in the state, transforming into a institution of excellence imparting quality technical education incorporating the day-to-day developments in field of Technical Education. Concepts and theories come alive at Prakasam through several hands on, high-tech learning laboratories. The College offers a three year full time Master of Computer Application program with an annual intake of 60 students."Unemployment can be curbed only by inculcating literacy, professional education and technical skills to the youth" it is this thought that took shape into Amma Education Society in 1997. And later prompted to start Prakasam Engineering College in 2001.
Placement Cell
College has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes.
Reputed industrial houses across the country visit our institute regularly for the campus recruitment programmes and pre-placement presentations. The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well-developed infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programmes. It provides almost instantaneous data to the corporate sector with regard to the candidates available for consideration towards placement in accordance with the preserved requirements.
The placement season of the college starts right from the beginning of the seventh semester (i.e.) from the month of June onwards. The college has got excellent facilities for conducting Campus Recruitments.
