HCL Technologies Selected Maximum Students from NIET during Pool Campus Dri

HCL Technologies conducted Pool campus Drive at Noida Institute of Enginering & Technology, Greater Noida for B.Tech students of 2014 passing out batch. Around 2500 students from more than 120 institutes across North India took part in the Drive.

Before the selection, the students underwent thoroughly conducted selection criteria, based on PPT, Online Test, and Technical & HR Interviews. Around 2500 students appeared in the first round, out of which around 1000 students got shortlisted for the final round. In total 252 students got selected in the final round. Out of all the selects, NIET students lead the chart with 19 numbers. The selected students would be designated as Software Engineers with a package of 3.5 Lac/Annum. They will join their duties around the month of September 2014.

Ish Mishra, one of the selected students from NIET said, “We are getting this privilege from the college even after the completion of the course. This is the big opportunity for us at the outset of career. I am grateful to Noida Institute of Engineering & technology for providing us such a mammoth venture of getting a great start.”

While lauding the efforts of the students the Managing Director of NIET, Dr O P Agarwal said, “I feel elated that our students have got placed even at the outset of their career. I have faith in the acumen of the selected NIETians. Really they will excel in their respective fields. However, 19 more candidates from NIET will be attending the interview of HCL Technologies on August 1, 2014 at KIET, Ghaziabad.”
