Moradabad Institute Of Technology, Moradabad was established in 1996 by Moradabad Educational Trust under the Self Financing Scheme of the Government of India. MIT is a National Board of Accreditation (NBA) accredited college. It is affiliated to UP Technical University, Lucknow and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. It offers various Undergraduate and Post Graduate programmes in Engineering and management.

Admissions to the undergraduate course is done through the UPTU. Admission to the post-graduate programs requires scores in both GATE and an All India Entrance Exam conducted by the UPTU. The institute offers 7 Undergraduate programmes in Engineering of four year duration and two Post Graduate programmes of two year duration.
