Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology, Sultanpur a government technical institute in Uttar Pradesh. It is a leading engineering and technology college in the state. KNIT Sultanpur was established in 1976. It is affiliated to the Uttar Pradesh Technical University, UPTU, Lucknow and approved by All India Council of Technical Education, AICTE, New Delhi.

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technologywas set up by Kamla Nehru Memorial Trust in 1976. However, it was taken up by the UP Government in 1979. Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology Sultanpur produces top-grade engineers with skill sets comparable with the best in the world. The institute also renders the testing and consultancy services to the industries and various other agencies located in the neighborhood.

B.Tech

B.Tech students are required to undergo ‘Vocational Training’ as per the provision of training in their curricula arranged by the institute during summer vacation. The students will bear the traveling and other expenses for the training. Marks assigned for the training are awarded on the basis of training report and vivavoce examination.

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technologyhas a full fledged Training & Placement cell under the Training & Placement Officer (TPO) who is a senior faculty member. The Training & Placement office also looks after the placement of the students. The various reputed Industries /Organizations conduct campus interviews regularly for selecting suitable candidates in their respective organizations.
