Kali Charan Nigam Institute of Technology (KCNIT) was established in 2002 under the aegis of Banda Education Centre in Banda, The Headquarters of “Chitrakoot Dham Mandal”, Uttar Pradesh. The Institure is approved by all India Council for Technical Education, Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India, New Delhi as well as Uttar Pradesh State Government. it is affiliated to Gautam Buddh Technical University, Lucknow.

With emphasis on providing excellence in technical education in an atmosphere conducive to higher studies, the institute aims at achieving a balanced development of students covering technical skills as well as over all personality. In-campus activities such as seminars, conferences, group discussions, lectures by guest speakers, yoga, gymnastics, indoor/outdoor games and cultural events, contribute towards attaining such goal. Arrangements are also being made for faculty members and senior students to go for training programmers and custom-built workshops in internationally renowned technical institutions such as Indian institutes of technology, national institutes of technology and National Laboratories with a view to provide them wider exposure and technical expertise.

Employers can use this portal to communicate with the College Placement Office and through necessary permissions manage campus recruitment and hire students and alumni online.
