Institute of Engineering and Technology) took shape in 1997.While the first batch of students joined at a temporary location in Mohali, the institute later moved to its own campus a sprawling 60 acres of lush green, pollution-free environment, set in rural settings, away from the built-up urban clutter, at village Bhaddal in Roopnagar (Ropar) district, at the turn of the millennium. The location is well-connected by the Roopnagar-Chandigarh road (National Highway 21).Over the years, IET has come up as one of the prestigious institutions of the region, with approval from AICTE, New Delhi, and the Government of Punjab. It is affiliated to Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar. Adding value to students'' qualification is an MoU signed by IET, Bhaddal, with a renowned American institution Wayne State University. Institute of Engineering and Technology (IET) Bhaddal came into being in 1997, when it was established by Kandi Friends Educational Trust, located in Mohali. The institute's first batch of students was enrolled into a temporary location in Mohali. Later on, the college was shifted to its present location. Spread over an area of 60 acres of land, IET Bhaddal ensures high standards in the education imparted by it and this is the reason why it provides excellent facilities to its students.
