Hindustan Institute Of Management and Computer Studies : Established in 1997, the HIMCS is constituent unit of Sharda Group of Institutions.As a result of Institute’s efforts, placement of students through campus selection has steadily increased during the past two years. Over 50 reputed companies like Daffodil Sofware, NIIT Technologies, Financial Technology, Flip Axis, Synergy Systems, TCS, Cease Fire, Dreams Factory, Savoir Manufacturing, Religare, Alethia, Solus Logistic, I.T.C, Ladder India, Devyani Internatioanl, Luna International, India Spiders have recruited students of this Institute. The compensation packages offered ranged from Rs. 2.00 lakh to Rs. 4.00 lakh per annum in most of the cases
Master of Computer Application :
Department of Computer Application is running a post graduate level course, Master of Computer Application (MCA). It is a 3 years PG program running under the affiliation from U.P. Technical University, Lucknow and approvel by All India Councial for Technical Education (AICTE).
MCA course is developed for the students asking to excel in the field of Computers and Information Technology. It proviedes application development with emphasis on the latest programming language and tooles for developing better and faster applications.
Admission Eligibility : Admission to Courses
(Category –I)
Admissions to UPTU Affiliated Courses MBA, MCA (at Mathura SGI Campuses Only)
85% of the seats are filled by the University through State Entrance Examination (SEE-UPTU'09), depending on the rank obtained by the student.
MCA -
(i) Rank in SEE-UPTU'10
(ii) Graduation with 50% marks; & 10+2 with Maths with 40% marks.
Lapsed Seats – Lapsed seats are those where in the students who opt for a college during and offered admission by UPTU but do not join or withdraw thereby creating a set of vacant seats which are termed as Lapsed seats.
These seats may be filled by subsequent counseling of UPTU or the University may authorize the college to fill up the seats, if counseling sessions are over.
Registration - Students seeking admission through the Management quota or against anticipated lapsed seats; (and meeting the eligibility criteria as stated above), may register with the Admission Cell along with a demand draft of Rs. 30,000/- drawn in favor of the College where admission is being sought, payable at Agra and appear in an assessment test and await their turn. The admission will be announced as per the laid down procedure.
Placement Procedure :
1.Invitations sent to prospective companies / organizations with relevant information.
2.Job announcement forms are received and displayed at the notice boards along with any extra information provided.
3.Interested students sign their willingness in the folder kept in the office.
4.CVs of interested students sent to the companies organization with a tentative data for campus interviews, which is based on the student ranking.
5.The company/ Organization may confirm the data or contact the placement to negotiate an alternative date.
6.The company/ Organization is required to furnish the final results of the selection as soon as possible after completion of the selection procedure.
