Late Dr. Puran Chand, Founder of Dr. Puran Chand Dharmarth Trust, realized the need of quality technical education in Kaithal District and its surrounding areas. To fulfill this requirement and his personal desire, in 1998, he founded Haryana College of Technology & Management Kaithal, a brainchild of this Philanthropic Society. To change the country from developing to developed, the management of Haryana College of Technology & Management Kaithal, is committed and is provide educational services and to continuous supply of skilled professional who carry in their heart and mind the acquired knowledge, required courage and desired enthusiasm to plunge into action and to meet the shortage in India and the other parts of the world. Placement Cell:
Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the insitute. The Institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year is an effort towards preparing the prospective of students for the campus selection programs.The cell keeps on invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It module the engineering grades to young corporates. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards gengerating placement and training opportunities for the students.

The placement cell coordinates quite well with the corporate sector and provides well deeveloped infrastructure to facilitate the campus selection programs.The cell maintains a very cordial relationship with all the recruiting industries and also prepares the recruited candidates to face the competitive world.
Our endeavor is to have in our engineers a blend of high academic and technical expertise, good human values, entrepreneurial skills, high morals and ethics, professional as well as traditional values. The students are given every opportunity for total personality development, to utilize their potential to the utmost. The training & placement cell organizes various seminars and workshops on Personality Development, so as to improve the communication skills and confidence level in the students. Various lectures by the distinguished experts are conducted on the topics like “How to face the interviews, group discussion and paper presentation etc.”
For the industrial training of the students timely orientation programs are scheduled and companies are invited in the college to provide further information to the students for summer training.
