Placement:

The Department of Training & Placement is the backbone of any institute. At, GIET Training and Placement Cell is an integral part of the institute. The institute has provided complete infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. Training activities are organized throughout the year in an effort towards preparing the prospective students for the campus selection programmes. The cell keeps on invites various industries and reputed firms for campus recruitment. It modules the engineering grades to young corporals. The cell is sensitized to function all through the year towards generating placement and training opportunities for the students.The department of Training and Placement, the marketing division of the institute has these following functions and responsibilities:
Nurtures Industry Institute interaction, by organizing and coordinating frequent industrial visits, inplant training and projects of industrial relevance for the students, with the sole aim of zeroing down the hiatus between the industry and the academia. .
Receives and forwards the feedback pertinent to curriculum improvement from the visiting companies to the faculty, to ensure that the curriculum follows the latest industrial trends.
Helps every student define his/her career interest through individual expert counseling.
Makes available updated database and job profile of the companies and thus helps each student analyze and choose company of his interest. The department has in its active file a database of nearly 1500 companies.
Organizes and coordinates Campus Placement Program, to fulfill its commitment of a job to every aspirant.
Works towards continuing education for the college employees
Department is having well furnished presentation/seminar hall and latest equipments like LCD and DLP projectors.
