Gulzar institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET), Ludhiana is an integral part of Gulzar Group of Institutes, which is managed and run by Gulzar Charitable and Educational Trust. The institute is affiliated to Punjab Technical University (PTU), Jalandhar. Gulzar Institute of Engineering & Technology is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of Human Resource Development, Government of India and recognized by the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), Government of Punjab. It offers undergraduate courses in the field of engineering - Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech). For the overall development of its students, Gulzar institute of Engineering & Technology provides them a wide range of modern facilities.

Gulzar institute of Engineering & Technology (GIET)has a separate Training and Placement Cell under professional experts has been established, which has tie ups with many prominent companies for regular industrial interactions. Industrialists visit the institute for events like project exhibition, guest lectures. There first batch is almost ready to go out from the portal GGI to serve the nation in 2011. It is there hope that majority of the students will get selected in various prestigious industries.
In addition to placement, this cell co-ordinate the activities like arranging career guidance, personality development program, higher education guidance and encourage students to take up industrial assignments / projects. H.R professionals & industrialists are called to guide students regarding need of the industries.
