Gokul Institute of Technology And Sciences (GITAS) is situated in lush green and scenic surroundings, 11 km from the famous town Bobbili in Vizayanagaram. Established in 2001, it has over the years produced many brilliant engineering students who have made a mark for themselves and brought laurels to the Country. The College is affiliated to Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University (JNTU), Kakinada, A.P. and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The College is accredited by National Board of Accreditation and accorded permanent affiliation by JNTU.

The Gokul Institute of Technology And Sciences (GITAS), established in 2001 by Sri. Kanjerla Lakshmi Narayana Yadav has grown in its size and stature over the years, from an initial intake of 480 seats in B. Tech with 5 branches and 72 seats in M-Tech course, 60 seats in MCA, and 60 seats in MBA courses.
Gokul Institute of Technology And Sciences (GITAS) is one of the largest Engineering Colleges in Andhra Pradesh and the first of its kind in Vizayanagarm District. It offers Five UG and Five PG programs with faculty strength of over 80. With consistent and excellent academic performance of students in the University examinations, the College has endeared itself to many students and parents.
College Dress Code :
The college has uniform for students. The dress for boys is grey trousers and sky blue shirts with shoes. Navy blue tie will have to be worn only on special occasions. Also they have to wear black leather shoes.
For girls too, uniform of light colour kurtha and dark colour kameez with dupatta is compulsory. Slippers / sandals without black-strap or without covered toes and high-heeled footwear are not allowed. Before procuring uniform, students are advised to contact the college office first.
