About Us :
Dhanalakshmi College of Engineering (DCE), Chennai is the brain child of the clairvoyant and committed academician Dr.V.P. Ramamurthi, (Dr.V.P.R) a former professor of Anna University.The stint of success accomplished in launching Indian Institute of Professional Education (IIPE) in 1993, fuelled the passion of Dr. V.P.R, to establish DCE in 2001-02, under the aegis of Dhanalakshmi Educational Trust. The college is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi and is affiliated to Anna University Chennai. The four under graduate courses are AICTE-NBA accredited and the institution is ISO 9001:2008 certified.
Today, DCE has grown in leaps and bounds and it is no wonder that DCE has become cynosure of the eyes of many, hankering for the distinguished centre of technological learning. The main aim of the college is to empower the hapless and needy, to inculcate rich traditions soaked in human values and to teach to sell brawn and brain to the highest bidder but never to put a price tag on heart and soul.
