With a view of imparting technical education especially to the rural people in chittoor district of Andhra Pradesh, the Venkateswara educational society promoted Sri Venkatesa Perumal College of Engineering & Technology in 2001. Keeping in view the latest trends, priorities and relevance in computers and business administrations, MCA program affiliated to JNTU was started in 2006 with an intake of 60. Furthering its sphere of activity, the college started another Postgraduate programme in MCA with an intake of 60, which was affiliated to Sri Venkateswara University.
