The Kuppam Educational Society established the Kuppam Engineering College with the sole objective of providing high-standard educational facilities to the rural folks. The management of the society is committed to make the engineering college an ideal place for learning in engineering and technology fields. The college was awarded ISO 9001:2000 certificate in the year 2004 by British Standards Institution. This was a pioneering achievement in the educational circle. The College started offering a three year full time Master of Computer Application program from 2006-07, with an intake of 60 students.
