Establishment: 1976 Affiliation: Autonomous The Establishment of Kakatiya University on 1976 signified the fulfillment of a long cherished aspiration of the people of Telangana. The Post-Graduate Centre was accorded autonomy in administrative and academic affairs by OU on 1976. Eventually, it was upgraded into Kakatiya University in the same year. With the expansion of jurisdictional area of the University in 1988, it has now in its fold 321 colleges in those 32 colleges are offering MCA. The University is committed to meet the augmented demand in the expansion of specialized courses form time to time, and is striving hard to provide appreciable scholastic activities to the increased number of students.
