ECHELON INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY (EIT), Faridabad Establishment: 2007 About Us: Echelon Institute of Technology , Faridabad was established in the year 2007 under the aegis of Echelon Educational & Welfare Society (Regt.) promoted by a group of engineers and entrepreneurs on a sprawling campus spread of 17.5 acres. It has an intake capacity of 240 seats in CSE/IT/ECE & AEI (60 seats each). The institute was inaugurated by Shri R.R. Shah, IAS(Retd), Member Secretary, Planning Commission on 19th August 2007. The landmark feature of session 2007-08 was the lecture series which were inaugurated by Prof. Yashpal, the grand old man of science and followed by Dr. Naresh Gupta, CEO, Adobe India. In the year 2008-09 another unit of 60 seats was added to CSE totaling the intake to 300 seats. The landmark decision was to fix the eligibility for admission at 65% in 10+2 exams.
