Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology (AAIST) was started in the year 1999, Approved by AICTE (Under F.No. 732 since 1999) and affiliated to Anna University (Code No: 201). AAIST focused imparting engineering education, highly relevant for the industries to meet their demand of trained manpower with practical experience and sound theoretical knowledge.
Arignar Anna Institute of Science and Technology was launched during the year 2000 for a single purpose "To produce excellence in education ". The college has been approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi and affiliated to Anna University - Chennai, Tamilnadu.
AIM :
To develop facilities for the process of acquiring academic excellence, physical well-being and character development. To systematically turn out graduates in Engineering and Technology who are head and shoulders above the rest in the student community.
