The founder members of All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society were the late His Highness Shrimant Shahu Chhatrapati Maharaj & His Highness Chhatrapati Rajaram Maharaj of Kolhapur, the late His Highness Shrimant Maharaj Madhavrao Scindia of Gwalior and His Highness Maharaj Shrimant Tukojirao Holkar of Indore.

To promote the noble cause of education. All India Shri Shivaji Memorial Society was established in 1917 by late Shri Shrimant Chattrapati Shahu Maharaj of Kolhapur and H. H. Late Alija Bahadur Madhavrao Scindia Maharaj of Gwalior.

The foundation stone ofAll India Shri Shivaji Memorial Societywas laid by the auspicious hands of his royal Highness, the prince of wales on 19th November, 1921 in Pune. It was established with well defined objective to bring about all round development of students & to create technically skilled manpower in the various fields.

To receive worldwide acclaim for excellence & efficient utilization of resources, the society has eminent personalities from various fields as members of management committee. Experts from science & technology are invited to share their skill and experience for continuous improvement in quality to develop all institution as a center for excellence.

As the name indicates, CITP is involved in the training and placement of the students and all information-related activities of the College. Some of the main activities carried out by the CITP are listed as follows :-
