siliconindia | | February 20184We have often heard about `Man Tripping' or `Man-Cations' which involves adventurous fishing trips to lavish golf games. However, women travelling with women sometimes referred as `girlfriend getaways' has recently become a thing that has blossomed into an attractive money-spinning market. Today, women of all ages are travelling in record numbers with female friends or relatives. Solo women travel is one of the most interesting travel trends in the market right now. According to a Solo Travel Report commissioned by Booking.com, it has been revealed that half of the female solo travel enthusiasts are more likely to holiday alone that they were five years ago. While it can be assumed that solo travel could be about an escape from everyday mundane life, the reports show that today's women are more inclined to want to get away from it all to gain new experiences; while two thirds, about 65 percent say that they actually feel more confident when taking a trip all on their own.
