Indian universities have attracted intelligentsia from countries like China, Indonesia, Japan, Persia, Babylon, Greece and several other. With time, Indian universities have garnered further global recognition and fame, and have collaborated with international universities to offer more inclusive and global education to students. But looking at the international education system, there still lies a huge gap that needs to be filled in our higher education system. No doubt, our higher education institutes have a long way to go to achieve the international benchmarks that will help us to promote global excellence further. We ought to come out of our deteriorating academic standards in several universities and understand and reflect upon what is needed to build world-class universities in India. While many Indian universities struggle for their existence and in offering world-class education to its students, some Indian Universities run parallelly with the global education system.
