According to a Gera report, the latest reduction in interest rates, has led to increased affordability, which was at 3.79 times one's annual income in 2020 (it was 3.91 times at the same time in 2019), thus making the year the best time to buy a home. According to data collected by real estate data analytics company Propequity in December 2020, Pune's sales surpassed that of cities like Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai etc. In the third quarter of the present calendar year, Pune had seen sales of 9,412 units, a significant jump from the 5,503 sales the city had registered in the second quarter. Thane had registered sales of 9,057 units, while Bengaluru and Hyderabad had sales of 5,663 and 4,295 units respectively. If we look at how the Pune's real estate sector has evolved in the recent times, the influence is evidently by numerous factors. The city's real estate market has always been known to be steady, even under adverse situation. Hence, experts believe that next 10 years from now will be wonderful and lucrative for the real estate market of Pune.
