In every department and job role, employees must hone their interpersonal prowess to improve customer service stats and build a stronger team dynamic. Besides, when two ostensibly qualified candidates are being inter-viewed for the same position, hiring managers have a tough time choosing. If only one of them had few soft skills to gain the edge! Soft skills are a combination of people skills, social skills, communication skills, charac-ter or personality traits, attitudes, career attributes, social intelligence, and emotional intelligence quotients that enable employees to navigate their en-vironment, work well with others, perform well and achieve their goals with complementing hard skills. In fact, creative and critical thinking skills were ranked second and third on the World Economic Forum's top skills employees will need to thrive in the fourth industrial revolution.The beauty of soft skills is that they're highly transferable.
