NOVEMBER 20224I'm open to discussion on this, but I believe that technology and individualised legal assistance can coexist. This is due to the fact that as technology increasingly permeates our daily lives, law firm clients are becoming more and more tech aware. In order to communicate with clients in a highly personalised way, remain on top of the evolving regulatory landscape, network with other attorneys, and rapidly update legal forms and documents, law firms can make use of both new and existing technologies. Instead of just being a paper pusher for legal documents, the power of technology has actually assisted in transforming the function of the lawyer into one of a completely trusted and respected adviser and legal partner.Every industry, both established and developing, has a strong AI presence. If we believe that law is exempt from these wonders, we shall be acting in complete ignorance. In actuality, the tools used to produce the contracts may also be used to handle the contract management, which includes the signature procedure. This results in an automated process from creation to storage. Furthermore, there are operational solutions that may give you information and dashboards displaying the nature of the work entering legal, the personnel working on it, the progress made so far, and the risk profile of that work. Additionally, it can give case management capabilities and delegate the work to the appropriate lawyers (internal or external). To be completely honest, compared to other industries, the inevitable shift in legal technology is quite slow-moving. But it will be there sooner or later, everything in its right place.
