But, we need a different breed of leaders altogether when it comes to education, as they need to not just lead by examples, but put dreams into the bleakly eyes of those who have never known what dream is. Dedicated to some such leaders from the field of education who have transformed the way education was perceived and taught, is our current edition of siliconindia Education's `Leaders Book - 2018'.While talking to these leaders, we realized that education as a sector still needs a major think-shift to be able to fast-track it towards global standardization. But India having its own unique set of challenges, the global methods and strategies do not work here. Hence, a new path has to be created altogether to be able to translate the vision of `Education for All' into reality. These edu-leaders, who have experienced/witnessed some of the major roadblocks in achieving this goal, have created a unique way of overcoming those challenges.One such leader is Dr. Manjula Pooja Shroff (MD & CEO), Kalorex Group, whose story has been featured in our Cover Story `Kalorex Group: A Bona Fide Change Agent in the Education Sector'. In her words, "Children of today are the leaders of tomorrow and education is a very important weapon to prepare children for their future roles as leaders of the community". Despite coming from a royal family. Dr. Manjula is instrumental in leveling the standard of education even for everyone, while upskilling unemployed women. Today, she runs over 40 education institutes in the states of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Tamil Nadu and Kerala.
