DECEMBER 20208IoT PLATFORM INFINITE UPTIME RAISES $5.15 MILLION IN SERIES B FUNDING FROM VENTUR EASTnfinite Uptime, an Internet of Things (IoT) platform that automates predictive mainte-nance has raised $5.15 million in series B funding round. The round of funding was led by Bangalore based VC firm Ven-turEast and saw participation from THK and other existing investors including Mayfield, GSR Ventures, IIML and GiTV. Infinite Uptime has so far raised $11.3 million across var-ious funding rounds. Founded in 2015, Infinite Uptime is an industrial internet platform that automates predictive mainte-nance for industrial machines, with an initial focus on the manufactur-ing industry. the Berkeley head-quartered firm provides an all in one industrial solution with hardware, cloud analytics and control software to monitor equipment, diagnose problems and drive smart decision making. The platform has been uti-lized by over 200 clients including names such as Daikin, Crompton Greaves, Siemens, RSB Transmis-sions, THK, JSW, Reitz, TVS Motors and Tata Steel.With the fresh infusion of capital coming in Infinite Uptime intends to further strengthen its customer relationships and ensure the avail-ability of the most cost-effective di-agnostics service for machines that reduce equipment downtime dras-tically, reduce bearing consumption and optimising spares inventories. The company statement also added that the funding will be used to make its technology available at scale, and invest heavily in research and devel-opment (R&D) to further enhance its diagnostic solution. Infinite Uptime also plans to deepen its presence in Asia, and scale up its operations in the Middle East, US and Europe. "Infinite Uptime will strengthen its market leadership in India and target key overseas markets such as Japan, Middle East and USA with this financing round.
