It enhances results of FUE and stimulates faster growth of implanted hairs.Implanted hairs start to grow after three months. In the first 2-4 weeks, all the implanted hairs may be lost, and its normal. Complete good result is seen at around six months. One can get density of hairs as good as natural hairs; but he/she needs to choose the hair transplant surgeon and clinic carefully, prefer-ably a MD dermatologist with addi-tional experience in hair restoration. In good hand upto 80 percent hair can be recovered. Post Transplant Precautions: One needs to avoid head bath and carry a surgical cap for three days, sleep in head high position, avoid bending & exercise, avoid helmet for few days, and medicines like antibiotic or pain killer may be prescribed to you. Tak-ing high protein diet and applying mi-noxidil lotion is recommended to get good result.How long does surgery take?Typically, it is done in eight hours for moderate baldness. But if baldness is severe, either it can take 10-12 hours or can be done in two sessions on consec-utive days.Can I do normal haircut after trans-plant and when?You are not recommended to get a haircut during the first two weeks, post which non-implanted area can be trimmed with scissors. After a month, any type of haircut is safe, but we recommend you to do it from a hairdresser who has experience with transplanted hairs. How long implanted hairs last? Are they lost with time, or are they permanent?Implanted hairs are usually permanent hairs and are not lost with time. Is it one time process?Mostly one time, but in few patients with progressive hair loss, a repeat ses-sion may be needed after some time de-pending on their desire. Most of the pa-tients can resume work on next day, or on second day of surgery. It is daycare outdoor procedure and admission is not needed.
